General Questions
Video-session (tele-health) counselling?
Online counselling is very similar to face to face counselling, allowing the client to undertake the session where they feel most at ease, particularly if the transport is limited. You may think that a connection with your counsellor is harder to establish in this medium, but you might be surprised how easily and effective speaking with your counsellor can be online!

Phone counselling
Phone counselling is handy when there isn’t the opportunity for face to face or telehealth counselling. Perhaps the client is nervous about seeing someone face to face or their technology access doesn’t allow for it.

Couples Counselling
Couples counselling encourages each person within the relationship to re-build honesty, trust, respect and understanding in the face of challenging circumstances. Learning how to provide and recognise supportive empathy and compassion through understanding emotions is key. Discovering increased insight as individuals and within the relationship can help to re-ignite the chemistry that was once there. Sometimes it is also recognising the relationship is reaching an end but can be done so in a respectful manner. Ideally, couples counselling is best achieved in a face to face environment, however, given our current world challenges, online couples counselling can still achieve positive outcomes. Typically, sessions may occur fortnightly or monthly, however for couples experiencing increased challenges, you may want weekly sessions.
